Official launch of the Allocate project at CSA Cidade das TIC

Today, at the Centro de Servizos Avanzados (CSA) Cidade das TIC, the #Allocate project was officially launched. It is led by the A Coruña City Council, and we are part of it as partners alongside the Universidade da Coruña, Altia, and the consultancy Khora Urban Thinkers.
This initiative, which has a total investment of €5.5 million, will facilitate, among other things, companies' access to large databases that enable the implementation of improvement systems in mobility and waste management through various applications.
The president of Cluster TIC Galicia, Antonio Rodriguez Del Corral, present at the event, highlighted that “Allocate is exceptional for the combination of public leadership, collaboration with universities and technology companies, and for opening municipal data to the service of all citizens and the ICT sector”.
The event was also attended by the Mayor of A Coruña, Inés Rey, the Director-General of the Agency for the Technological Modernization of Galicia, Julián Cerviño Iglesia, the Rector of the University of A Coruña, Ricardo Cao, and the Director-General of AESIA - Agencia Española de Supervisión de Inteligencia Artificial, Ignasi Belda.
Among the representatives of the companies that are part of the project were Ramón Costa, from Altia, and Daniel Ayala Serrano, an architect at Khora Urban Thinkers.
